The RISE Award, which stands for Rabbits Innovation and Site Excellence, is an award for adult websites started in 2010 by the website RabbittsReviews.com (RR) as a means for the staff of reviewers to vote for their selections of the "incredible work" being produced and to fairly represent the subject matter by the adult industry.[1]
Voting is done amongst the staff reviewers based on nominations made by the general public in categories established by the RR staff.[1] Nominees are then asked to submit three examples of videos from their website in the respective category for consideration. According to the company's Marketing Director, "Each reviewer was asked to pick their top three, with their top choice receiving three points and their third choice only one point. All the judges' scores were tabulated and the site with the most points won."[2]
The awards have been covered in industry press such as AVN magazine and XBIZ.[3][2]
