Queenswood Heights is a neighbourhood located in Orleans, a suburb in the east end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Prior to amalgamation in 2001, the neighbourhood was in the City of Cumberland. Queenswood Heights is bounded by St. Joseph Boulevard to the north, Tenth Line Road to the east, Innes Road to the south, and the former Cumberland-Gloucester boundary to the west (the Queenswood Heights Community Association considers "Duford St" (sic) to be the western boundary.[1] According to the Canada 2011 Census, the population of the neighbourhood was 11,684.

The neighbourhood was established in 1962[2] and was the first modern subdivision created in the area.

Schools

There are three elementary level schools serving the needs of young students in the neighbourhood.

Queenswood Public School, one of the oldest schools in the neighbourhood, was closed in June 2008 due to low enrollment and rising costs with its students being transferred to nearby Dunning-Foubert.[3]
