The 2170 class was a class of diesel locomotives built by Clyde Engineering, Eagle Farm for Queensland Railways between 1982 and 1984.
History
The 2170 class were an evolution of the 2150 class. They differed by having modified traction motors and air-conditioning.[1][2][3] In August 2013, three were exported to South Africa.[4]
