Queens Road Metrolink station is a tram stop on the Bury Line of Greater Manchester's light rail Metrolink system. It is located in Cheetham Hill in North Manchester, England. It originally opened as a staff halt stop only[1][2] serving the Metrolink system's original Queens Road depot at Metrolink House. The station opened on 16 December 2013.[3] Queens Road is the closest station to the Manchester Museum of Transport on Boyle Street and is adjacent to the Irish World Heritage Centre.

The station replaced Woodlands Road Metrolink station, which closed on the opening day of the station.

Services

Queens Road is located on the Bury Line with trams towards Bury stopping every 6 minutes during the day, Mondays to Saturdays, every 12 minutes Monday to Saturday evenings and Sunday daytime and every 15 minutes Sunday evenings. Trams also head towards Etihad Campus, Manchester and Altrincham, with the Monday to Saturday daytime service running every 12 minutes each to Etihad Campus via Manchester Piccadilly or Altrincham, while evening services run to Etihad Campus and Sunday services run to Manchester Piccadilly only with journeys to Altrincham requiring a change of trams at Piccadilly Gardens.
