Qualcomm Stadium is a San Diego Trolley stop on the Green Line. The elevated station has an island platform as well as side platforms. It is located in the parking lot of the Qualcomm Stadium, home to the San Diego Chargers football team, and is frequently used during major stadium event days. Outside of events, the large parking facilities also make for a massive park and ride facility for travelers from northern portions of the city and county.
Prior to July 2005, this station was served by the Blue Line until service between Old Town Transit Center and Mission San Diego was replaced by the Green Line upon its introduction in conjunction with the opening of the Mission Valley East extension.[1]
