Qué Pobres Tan Ricos (International Title:The Poor, Rich Family) is a Mexican telenovela produced by Rosy Ocampo for Televisa. It is a remake of the Colombian telenovela Pobres Rico.[2]

Jaime Camil and Zuria Vega star as the protagonists; Mark Tacher and Ingrid Martz star as the main antagonists, with the participation of Sylvia Pasquel, Manuel "Flaco" Ibáñez, and Queta Lavat.[3]

As of November 11, 2013, Canal de las Estrellas started broadcasting Qué Pobres Tan Ricos weeknights at 8:25pm, replacing Libre para amarte.[4] The last episode was broadcast on June 29, 2014, with Mi Corazón Es Tuyo replacing it the following day.

Univision broadcast Qué Pobres Tan Ricos from January 6, 2014, weeknights at 10pm/9c, replacing one hour of Lo Que La Vida Me Robó. The last episode was broadcast on August 24, 2014, with La Malquerida replacing it the following day.[5][6]

The finale of Qué Pobres Tan Ricos averaged 3.9 million viewers on Univision.[7]

Synopsis

Qué Pobres Tan Ricos is the story of the Ruizpalacios family, millionaires who suddenly lose their fortune, and the Menchaca family.[8] The Ruizpalacios must leave their home, and they find that the only place where they can live is with the Menchacas in the Menchaca's modest home.[9]
