Qatari cuisine has strong influences of Iranian and Indian cuisines. Traditional Qatari foods include:

A classic salad dish made from tomatoes, cucumbers and scallions and flavored with mint and parsley

Pizza
Flat bread covered with tomato sauce and usually cheeses such as cheddar or mozzarella. This is a relatively modern staple in Qatar.

Rice, meat and vegetables with spices

Noodles cooked with sugar, cinnamon, saffron and cardamom. There is often an omelet on top

Arabic coffee
Made from beans and spiced with cardamom, often sweetened or served with dates

A bright orange mixture with cardamom, saffron and sugar[2]
