Qarzol-Hasaneh Mehr Iran Bank (Persian: بانک قرض الحسنه مهر ایران ), also known as QMB, is an Iranian bank Founded on December 13, 2007, graced by the presence of the former President of the Islamic Republic of Iran; Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to rejoice in the celebration in person, the Qarz Al-Hasanah Mehr Iran Bank (QMB) has established more than 500 branches across the country during the past six years.QMB is the first specialized Islamic bank which is specifically engaged in providing virtuous loan that is absolutely interest-free. Such gratuitous loan which signifies the benevolent nature of the act of lending without any compensation or gift loans known as Qard Hassan are essentially granted to the legal and individual entities in dire need for either welfare purposes or for fulfilling short-term funding requirements.
