Qardaha District
Qardaha District (Arabic: منطقة القرداحة / ALA-LC: Minṭaqat al-Qardāḥah) is a district (mantiqah) administratively belonging to Latakia Governorate, Syria. At the 2004 Census it had a population of 74,644.[1] Its administrative centre is the city of Qardaha.
Sub-districts
The district of Qardaha is divided into four sub-districts or Nāḥiyas (population according to 2004 official census):
- Qardaha Nahiyah (ناحية القرداحة): population 44,510.[2]
- Harf al-Musaytirah Nahiyah (ناحية حرف المسيترة): population 6,669.[3]
- Al-Fakhurah Nahiyah (ناحية الفاخورة): population 18,357.[4]
- Jawbat Burghal Nahiyah (ناحية جوبة برغال): population 5,743.[5]
