Q'iwiri (Aymara q'iwi a curved line; a cord turned around the hat or other things,[2][3] -ri a suffix, hispanicized spelling Quihuire) is a mountain in the Peruvian Andes, about 5,200 metres (17,060 ft) high. It is located in the Moquegua Region, Mariscal Nieto Province, Carumas District, and in the Puno Region, Puno Province, in the districts Acora and Pichacani. Q'iwiri lies northwest of the mountain Qurini and north of the lake Aqhuyach'alla (Pasto Grande).[1]
