Puttenahalli Lake (JP Nagar)
Puttenahalli lake is a small, restored [1] lake located at JP Nagar 7th Phase in South Bangalore. The area of the lake is about 13 acres. The water primarily come from rain and surface water diverted to the lake through channels.[1] The lake is currently maintained by Puttenahalli Neighbourhood Lake Improvement Trust .[2]

Location
Future plans
PNLIT is planning to major improvements to the lake and lake area. Karnataka Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) is evaluating a proposal to get excess treated water from South City sewage treatment plant to fill the lake. The project is expected to and be completed by June 2015. Additionally, Upa Lokayukta is rehabilitating the slum in proximity of the lake.
