Purvis Bay
Purvis Bay is located in the Florida Islands, which are part of the Solomon Islands. The bay was used by the US Navy during World War Two. Purvis bay is the sheltered area to the south of Florida island including and trending southeast from Tulagi island. It lies north across "Iron Bottom Sound" from Guadalcanal.
