Purpura secondary to clotting disorders

Purpura secondary to clotting disorders are purpura (red or purple discolorations on the skin) which occur due to hereditary disorders of blood coagulation in which there is a deficiency or qualitative abnormality of a single coagulation factor, as in hemophilia or von Willebrand's disease.[1]:824
