Purfleet railway station is located in Purfleet, Thurrock, Essex, in the East of England. It is situated just north of London Road, and a level crossing is provided for traffic. The station was opened in 1854 as part of the London, Tilbury and Southend Railway and is located 15.98 mi (25.72 km) from London Fenchurch Street. Passenger train services are provided by c2c. Although outside London fare zones 1 to 6, the station became part of the Oyster card pay-as-you-go rail network in January 2010.[3]

Services

Purfleet station is served solely by London, Tilbury and Southend Line trains heading inbound to Fenchurch Street in central London and outbound to Grays and Shoeburyness in Essex in the East of England.
