Purani Jeans is a 2014 Bollywood coming-of-age drama directed by Tanushri Chattrji Bassu, the film stars Tanuj Virwani, Aditya Seal and Izabelle Leite in lead roles ^[1] The film is based on the belief that – “friendship is like a pair of old jeans- the older it gets, the better it becomes”, and tells the story of young boy who returns to his hometown and reconnects with his old friends. Ram Sampath has scored the film’s music. The first look of the film was revealed on March 8th, 2014, ahead of film's release on May 2, 2014. ^[2]

Plot

This film starts by sid losing his mother. He then collects his lost bag at a airport where a girl from a publication house tells him that she read his diary and he is quite a writer which brings back some old memories to sid. He then goes to INDIA to sell his mother's cottage in kasauli. It then brings him old memories.

Then the story starts as all the 4 cowboys (self proclaimed) execute the plans to welcome their hero sam Aditya Seal. They then go to the station to welcome him, where sid Tanuj Virwani run into nayantara Izabelle Leite. Then felling sorry for themselves they are on their way to their homes when the are struck by a black car. When they ran after the car it is revealed that it is sam. He also tells sorry to zizo and he will fix his father's car.

After that they begin their fun by partying, throughin eggs at everyone's house. It is also shown that sam flirts with sid's mom. And his father left him when he was six and in shock of it his mother is always drunk. He is all alone.

After some day sid again ran into nayantara in a music store. And in a club night sam met nayantara and her sister and has fallen for her. Also bobby is shown dancing with her sister.
