Pune Institute of Business Management, abbreviated as PIBM Pune, is a Management Institute approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India and affiliated to the University of Pune, located in the city of Pune (Oxford of the East), Maharashtra, India. ^[1]

History

PIBM was legally set up under the trust IAEER's (Indian Academy of Empowerment and Educational Research), established on 26 September 2007. Inspired by Shri Swami Vivekananda Ji, initiated by Mr. Raman Preet, with the vision to provide management education for the enhancement of employability, education which teaches practical implementation of the theory. The focus of the institute is to make students understand different business sectors, thereby enabling them to have macro level views on strategic application of theoretical concepts and study of specific product/service to make students perfect business executors.^[2]
