Pumawanka (Quechua puma cougar, puma, wanka stone, "puma stone", hispanicized spellings Pumahuanca, Pumahuanja) or Yukay is a mountain in the Urupampa mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,650 m (17,388 ft) high. It is located in the Cusco Region, Calca Province, Lares District as well as in the Urubamba Province, Urubamba District. It is situated north west of the town Urubamba, northwest of the Ch'iqun and west of the mountain Qhapaqsaya.[3]
