Pumaqucha (Quechua puma cougar, puma, qucha lake,[2] "puma lake", hispanicized spelling Pomacocha, Pomacochas) is a lake in Peru located in the Amazonas Region, Bongará Province, Florida District.[1][3] It is situated at a height of about 2,257 metres (7,405 ft), about 2.79 km long and 2 km at its widest point. Pumaqucha lies east of the town Pumaqucha (Pomacochas) which is also named Florida.
