Puka Urqu (Quechua puka red, urqu mountain,[2] "red mountain", hispanicized spelling Pucaorjo) is a mountain in the Urupampa mountain range in the Andes of Peru. It is situated in the Cusco Region, Calca Province, Lares District. Its summit is 4,776 metres (15,669 ft) above sea level. Puka Urqu is situated northeast of the mountain Siriwani, northwest of the mountain Sawasiray and east of the mountain Paru Urqu,[3] at the Lares trek. One of the nearest populated places is Kiswarani (Quishuarani).
