Puka Punta (Quechua puka red, punta first, before, in front of,[2][3] Spanish punta tip, point, hispanicized spelling Puca Punta) is a mountain in the Willkanuta mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,600 metres (18,373 ft) high. It is situated in the Cusco Region, Canchis Province, Pitumarca District, and in the Quispicanchi Province, Ocongate District. Puka Punta lies southwest of the mountain Qullpa Ananta, northeast of Yanaqaqa and east of Hatun Punta.[1]
