Pterophorus oligocenus is an extinct moth of the Pterophoridae family. It is the only known fossil of the Pterophoridae family. It was discovered near Aix-en-Provence, Bouches-du-Rhone in France. It is a late Oligocene fossil, dated to 25-30 million years B.P.[1]
