Psychotria sordida is a species of plant in the Rubiaceae family. It is endemic to Sri Lanka.
Leaves
small, lanceolate-oblong, base tapering, long-pointed apex, lateral veins inconspicuous.
Trunk
branchlets slender.
Flowers
greenish-white, sessile, clusters of 3's; Inflorescence - 3-branched, short, spreading, sessile cymes.
Fruits
black, oblong berry, capped by small calyx; pyrenes with 2 deep furrows.
Ecology
montane forest understory.
