Provincial Highway 1 (Taiwan)
Provincial Highway No. 1 (台1線) is a 464.693 km-long provincial Taiwanese highway that starts in the north of the country near Taipei Main Station and ends in the south at Fangshan, Pingtung County. It intersects with Provincial Highway No. 9 and No. 26. Before the freeway system is built in Taiwan, this was the primary north-south highway for the island. The highway connects most of the major cities in Taiwan.

Special routes of Provincial Highway No. 1 use the same number, followed by a heavenly stem character. However, for English translation, these characters are replaced by letters in the alphabetical order.
- Highway 1A (台一甲)
: This route is based on the old Highway 1 segment in Taipei and parts of Taoyuan county. The road starts from Taipei City and ends in Taoyuan City. The total length is 27.1 km.
- Highway 1B (台一乙)
: This route serves as a connecting route to Taichung City for Highway 1. The road starts from Daya, Taichung and ends in Dadu, Taichung. The total length is 21.7 km.
- Highway 1C (台一丙)
: This route is an alternate route for Highway 1, and bypasses Changhua City. The total length is 8.3 km.
- Highway 1D (台一丁)
: This route connects Highway 1 to Douliu, Yunlin. The total length is 14.4 km.
