Protein Society

The Protein Society is an international academic society focused on protein science. It was founded in 1985 and publishes the journal Protein Science.[1] Scientists from various disciplines and over 50 countries claim membership.[2] David Eisenberg was the Society's first president.[1] The society organizes annual symposium which hosts hundreds of participants from all over the world. The 2014 symposium took place in San Diego, California, USA from 27th to 30th July, 2014.
