The Prospect Point Park observation tower is a tower located in Niagara Falls, New York, USA and just east of the American Falls.
The tower stands at 282 feet (86 m) with the base at the gorge level and visitors entering at the ground level from Prospect Point Park.[1] It sees eight million visitors annually.
The tower is constructed of aluminum, glass, and steel.
The tower was originally built in 1961[1] and extensively refurbished in 2001. Improvements included a pre-cast concrete plank observation deck, an ornamental stainless steel deck railing system, new rest rooms, and a gift shop.
