Prophet Entertainment (or Prophet Posse) is a Memphis, Tennessee based rap record label formerly owned by DJ Paul and Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia. It is now owned by Nick Scarfo.

History

Backyard Posse founder Nick Scarfo founded Prophet Entertainment along with DJ Paul and Juicy J. The label's acts included Three 6 Mafia, Prophet Posse, and the Killa Klan Kaze. Nick Scarfo had a disagreement with DJ Paul and Juicy J and sued over the label.^[1] DJ Paul and Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia went on to form their own label Hypnotize Minds.^[2] Since making Choices the movie,^[3] Hypnotize Minds has gained much more national and global recognition.

In early 2000 some former members of Hypnotize Minds joined the new Prophet Posse, which is still led by Nick Scarfo. They have released three albums since 2007.
