"Promise You" is the first official Japanese single of Super Junior-K.R.Y, the sub-unit of South Korean boy band Super Junior, released on 23 January 2013 by Avex Trax.

Background

In November 2012 the trio held a concert in Yokohama in which they announced they're going to release an original Japanese single titled "Promise You" on 23 January 2013.[1]

Reception

"Promise You" on 23 January 2013 debuted at number two on the Oricon’s daily singles chart. In total, the single album sold 40,645 copies on first day of release on January 23.[2] In the next day the single album ranked 1st place by selling 15,197 copies.[3] In the first week of sales "Promise You" sold 69,067 copies, ranking 2nd place in Oricon Weekly Chart.[4] "Promise You" placed 7th in Oricon Monthly Chart of January.[5]
