Progressive States Network

The Progressive States Network, previously known as PLAN (Progressive Legislative Action Network), is an organisation dedicated to passing progressive legislation at the state level in the United States. It was formed in 2005 to counter the conservative American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).^[1] Its strategy is to provide resources to state legislators who support their causes. Joel Barkin is the executive director of the Progressive States Network.
