Pro Wrestling Women's Alliance also known as PWWA is an Australian independent professional wrestling promotion founded in 2007 by Ryan Eagles and Madison Eagles. It is Australia's only women's Pro Wrestling promotion.[1]
History
On September 3, 2011, the Shimmer Championship was defended for the first time outside of the United States, when Eagles defeated Jessie McKay and Nicole Matthews at a Pro Wrestling Womens Alliance event in Australia.[2][3]
As of August 2014 Global Force Wrestling announced working agreements with Pro Wrestling Alliance Australia and PWWA.[4]
