Pritam Kotal (born 9 August 1993 in Uttarpara, West Bengal) is an Indian footballer who plays as a Right back for Mohun Bagan in the I-League.[3]
Career
Pailan Arrows
Kotal signed for Pailan Arrows in the I-League for the 2011-12 I-League season in the summer of 2011. He then played in Pailan's second victory of the season in a Round 23 match against HAL.[4] Then on 5 January 2013 Kotal scored an own goal against ONGC at the Ambedkar Stadium in an I-League match as Pailan lost 3–0.[5]
Mohun Bagan
On 21 October 2013 it was announced that Kotal has signed for Mohun Bagan.[6] He made his debut for Mohun Bagan in the I-League on 23 October 2013 against Salgaocar F.C. at the Salt Lake Stadium, coming on as a substitute for Aiborlang Khongjee in the 85th minute as Mohun Bagan won the match 2-1.[7]
Kotal represented FC Pune City on loan from Mohun Bagan for the 2014 Indian Super League.[8]
Kotal scored his first goal for Mohun Bagan during their third game of the 2014-15 I-League season against Pune.[9]
International
Kotal played three matches for India U19. He made his U-23 debut against Oman U23 in last match of the 2013 AFC U-22 Asian Cup qualification group stage, but unfortunately India lost the tie by 4-0.
Kotal made his senior national team debut against Nepal on 12 March 2015.[10][11]
