Prison Without Bars

Prison Without Bars is a 1939 British black-and-white, crime film directed by Brian Desmond Hurst and starring Ronald Shiner as a gendarme.[1] It was produced by Alexander Korda Film Productions.

Synopsis

A young modern woman comes to a reformatory dominated by the harsh previous head. A young girl is blackmailed by her acquaintance for her love for the head's fiancé, but is released to join him in the end, when all is revealed.[2]
