Printmaking Council of New Jersey

The Printmaking Center of New Jersey is a 41 year old award winning community arts non-profit organization located in the hamlet of North Branch in Branchburg Township, within Somerset County, New Jersey, across from the North Branch Station.

Mission

The purpose of this organization is to encourage and to support the fine art of printmaking in all its varied forms for the benefit of artists and the public through education and exhibition; to establish and sustain a creative center that will promote interaction among artists of different abilities and advance their artistic and professional growth; to promote participation of the public both at the PCNJ facility and throughout the State of New Jersey.

The Center offers classes and workshops, studio and darkroom rentals, and children's group programs, as well as public exhibitions. Additionally, the Center has a Corporate Portfolio service to provide companies with original art, framed and installed in their business locations, Combat Paper of New Jersey is also a PCNJ program enabling veterans to create hand made paper from their uniforms which is then used to print images, text or combinations of images and text expressing their feelings and thoughts about their experiences.
