Princess Punzalan (Born, November 19, 1963) is a Filipina actress in movies and television shows in the Philippines. She won the PMPC Star Awards for TV's Best Drama Actress in 1998 for her role as Selina in Mula Sa Puso.

Career

She became popular for her role as Antagonist Selina Matias in the 1997 series Mula Sa Puso starring Claudine Barretto, aired in ABS-CBN she was reported to be thrown by tomatoes after she did her laugh by bombing Via from bus terminal. She played as co-teacher and Mila's bestfriend in Mila played by Maricel Soriano.

In 2005, she played the evil aunt of Ryza Cenon and LJ Reyes in GMA's afternoon drama series Now And Forever. She appeared in GMA-7's The Last Prince (2010) starring Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal, where Punzalan played an evil witch.

She appeared in the Regal Films movie My Valentine Girls (2011) with Richard Gutierrez. She did a film Johnny Loves Dolores (2012), an entry in the San Francisco International Asian Film Festival, directed by Clarissa delos Reyes.

She was nominated as Best Actress for FAMAS Award in the movie Kung Tapos Na Ang Kailanman.

Personal life

She was the daughter of Orly Punzalan (a broadcaster who was formerly the president of IBC TV network) and actress/host Helen Vela, now both deceased. Her siblings are Paolo, Meg and Reuben.

Punzalan was previously married to controversial TV host and actor Willie Revillame.

Punzalan settled in California since 2005 after she married an American Jason Field, a marketing professional.
