Prestonwood Christian Academy (PCA) is a private PreK - 12 Christian school in Plano, Texas. It was founded 1997, and is a ministry of Prestonwood Baptist Church. As of 2014, it had approximately 1,600 students and more than 1000 graduates. The mission of Prestonwood Christian Academy is to assist Christian parents by helping equip students to embrace biblical truth, strive for academic excellence and model Christ-like leadership to influence their homes, churches and communities for Christ. Now the largest Pre-K through twelfth grade private school in the Metroplex with more than 1,600 students, PCA is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition to the Pre-K through twelfth grade campus in Plano, the school also has a campus serving more than 60 students in Pre-K3 through fourth grade in Prosper, TX, and a Virtual Academy at www.pcaplus.org.
