Prathyaksham
Prathyaksham (Sanskrit:प्रत्यक्षं) is indicative of the descent of god appearing for his worshippers and devotees.
Besides the dominant feature of a temple's architecture comprising the Gopuram, Vimanam and the sanctum, the vision of god descending for his worshippers enhance the attributes of the temple. Some of the temples and historical places derive their names from such visions of the deity at all points of time.
