Prasert Jitsakul

Prasert Jitsakul จ.ภ. (Thai: ประเสริฐ จิตรสกุล)[1] born c.1923 is a Thai businessman. Prasert has businesses based in the province of Chiang Rai and he is a founding member of the Jitsakul family, a Thai business and political family.

Personal life

Prasert was born in China and later immigrated to Thailand. He started working as an employee of other business. Prasert later started his own business by becoming the first and to date, the only Toyota and Nissan dealer in Chiang Rai. He later expanded his business by building the first full-serviced hotel in Chiang Rai, "Wiang Inn Hotel". Prasert is currently the chairman[2] of the Jitsakul family's businesses in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Phayao which includes four hotels, four automobile dealerships, two motorcycle dealerships and one convention center. Whereas his brother, Chuwit Jitsakul is in charge of the family business in the province of Phrae.
