The Príncipe kingfisher (Alcedo cristata nais) is a bird in the Alcedinidae family. It is endemic to São Tomé and Príncipe.
Taxonomy
Originally described as a distinct species, it is sometimes treated as a subspecies of the malachite kingfisher. BirdLife International revised its status to subspecies in 2008.[1]
