Porter High School

Porter High School is a school that opened in 2010 in unincorporated Montgomery County, Texas. It is the second high school to New Caney Independent School District. The school is home of the Spartans athletic teams. Its school colors are black and red.

Porter High School opened in August 2010 and had a price of $16 million, including the costs of the land, the buildings, and the furnishings.[1]

Porter High School serves a portion of Porter Heights, a portion of Porter, and the portion of Houston in Montgomery County.[2]

Feeder patterns

Elementary school attendance zones that feed into Porter include those of Bens Branch, Crippen, Kings Manor, and Sorters Mill, and a portion of Porter Elementary attendance zone.[2][3] Since all residents of NCISD attend the New Caney 6th Grade Campus for 6th grade, a portion of that campus feeds into Porter High School.[4] All residents zoned to White Oak Middle School are also zoned to Porter High School.[2][5]
