Poppy Angela Delevingne[2] (born 3 May 1986)[3] is an English model and socialite.

Career

Delevingne was spotted by Storm Model Management founder Sarah Doukas in 2008.[4]

She has modelled for brands such as Shiatzy Chen, Laura Ashley, Anya Hindmarch, Paige Denim, Mango, Alberta Ferretti and Burberry,[5][6] has walked the runway for brands including Julien Macdonald,[4] and has worked with photographers such as Terry Richardson.[7] Having caught the eye of designer Marc Jacobs, she became the face of the Louis Vuitton summer 2012 collection.[5][6]

Delevingne is a Young Ambassador for the British Fashion Council,[5] and a Chanel brand ambassador.[6][8][9]

Family and personal life

Delevingne was born in London, England, the daughter of property developer Charles Delevingne and personal shopper Pandora Delevingne (née Stevens) and the granddaughter of Sir Jocelyn Stevens. She grew up in a Belgravia mansion and attended the independent Bedales School. Her younger sister Cara Delevingne is also a model.[7][10]

Delevingne is a muse and friend of Matthew Williamson,[4][5] and previously shared a New York flat with the actress Sienna Miller.[7][9]

In October 2012 Delevingne became engaged to James Cook,[4][8] and they were married in May 2014.[11]
