Popovice is a village and municipality (obec) in Uherské Hradiště District in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 8.59 square kilometres (3.32 sq mi), and has a population of 1,097 (as at 28 August 2006).

Popovice lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) east of Uherské Hradiště, 23 km (14 mi) south-west of Zlín, and 253 km (157 mi) south-east of Prague.
