The Northern treefrog[2] (Polypedates mutus) is a species of frog in the Rhacophoridae family. It also goes by the names Burmese whipping frog and vocal sacless treefrog.[2]
It is found in China, Myanmar, Vietnam, possibly Laos, and possibly Thailand. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, swamps, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, ponds, and irrigated land. It is threatened by habitat loss.
