The Polish minority in Norway is biggest immigrant group in Norway.[1]
Estimates of the number of Poles living in Norway vary from 72,103[2] to 91,179[1] (about 1,22-1,76% of Norwegian population). Non-official data claim that Polish minority may stand at 120,000. In 2001, however, there were about 6,432 Polish immigrants.[3]
Places with significant populations are Oslo, Moss, Bergen, Fredrikstad, Drammen.
First Poles came to Norway in 1830-1831 after the fall of the November Uprising.
