Pok Pok is a Thai restaurant in Portland, Oregon, and New York City. The founder and chief chef is Andy Ricker. Its Portland location is at 3226 Southeast Division Street,[1] while the New York City location is located on the Columbia Street Waterfront.[2][3] Two new locations--one of Pok Pok Phat Thai and one to be called "Pok Pok LA"-- are scheduled to be opened in the Chinatown neighborhood of Los Angeles.[4]
Reception
According to The Oregonian, the restaurant "has emerged as one of those quintessentially Portland institutions, a sort of rags-to-riches story of the street cart that became a restaurant that became a legend."[5]
On October 1, 2014, Pok Pok NY received a star in the 2015 Michelin Guide.[6]
