Poieneşti is a commune in Vaslui County, Romania. It is composed of seven villages: Dealu Secării, Floreşti, Frasinu, Poieneşti, Fundu Văii, Oprişiţa and Poieneşti-Deal. Although legally part of Poieneşti, Dealu Secării and Floreşti villages are administered by Alexandru Vlahuţă Commune.
