Plug In Plug Out is an acoustic EP released by Canadian indie rock band Metric on October 27, 2009. It was first released exclusively on Amazon.com, and was released on iTunes on December 1, 2009 for residents of the US and UK. It became available worldwide on the band's website in early 2010.[1] The idea for the EP came from the fact that the band had recorded several songs off Fantasies acoustically during the filming of their documentary The Rawside of...Metric and many fans had asked to see them in a release. One of these tracks (it changes periodically) is made available for download to anyone who joins the band's mailing list.
