Plesner is a full-service law firm specializing in commercial law . It is based in central Copenhagen and as of 2013 maintains a staff of some 380 employees.
History
Plesner traces its history back to a law firm founded by Poul Jacobsen in 1918.Kaj Holm-Nielsen and Mogens Plesner became partners in the firm in 1949 which later assumed the name Holm-Nielsen & Plesner. The 1980s saw the first of a series of mergers with other well-established law firms which has led to the current company.It has been known as Plesner since 2008.[2]
Location
Plesner is based at Amerika Plads in the Southern Freeport area of central Copenhagen. Their building is designed by Arkitema and was completed in 2004.[3]
Recognition
Plesner was named Danish Law Firm of the Year by Chambers Europe in 2013.[4]
