Playground Music Scandinavia

Playground Music Scandinavia AB (or just Playground Music, abbreviated to PGM) is a Scandinavian based record label and is currently owned by Jonas Sjöström.

Playground Music Scandinavia is an independent record company and distributor operating since 1999 all over the Nordic region (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden).

Playground Music produces, sells, markets and promotes music in physical and digital form from local offices in Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm and Tampere (Finland). The administrative headquarters are based in Malmö (Sweden).

Playground artists directly signed or represented include: Jenny Wilson, Sofia Karlsson, The Rasmus, Jeanette Lindström Teron Beal, Strip Music, The Concretes, Anna David among others.

Playground is the owner of the Swedish label Diesel with artists like Lisa Nilsson, Koop, Mauro Scocco, Titiyo and Blacknuss in the catalogue.

Playground represents local labels like Licking Fingers, among others throughout Scandinavia.

Playground represents several international independent labels such as Beggars Banquet, 4AD, Domino, Matador, XL Recordings, Eagle Rock, New West, Naïve, Edel, Eagle Vision, World Circuit and many more.

Playground has local distribution partners on Iceland and in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.^[1]
