Playgirlz (promoted as AFTERSCHOOL 1st Japan Tour -PLAYGIRLZ-) is the first Japan nationwide concert tour by South Korean girl group, After School. The tour is to promote their first Japanese studio album, "Playgirlz" and their fourth Japanese single "Lady Luck/Dilly Dally".

Background

On January 13, 2012, Pledis Entertainment announced that After School, who made their Japan debut with "Bang!" in August last year, will be holding their first Japan concert tour "AFTERSCHOOL First Japan Tour 2012 -PLAYGIRLZ-" in April 2012. The tickets for the concert were available for purchase on March 24, 2012. "AFTERSCHOOL First Japan Tour 2012 -PLAYGIRLZ-" will be held at Zepp Tokyo, Zepp Nagoya and Namba Hatch (Osaka) on the 27th, 28th and 30th of April respectively.[1][2][3] Despite their tight schedule which calls for them to shuffle between Korea and Japan as they continue their solo and group activities, After School has been practicing hard for these concerts so as not to disappoint their fans, and they are expected to put up some special performances as well as showcase their various hit songs. Due to the demand for tickets previously, an additional date was added on June 17 at Tokyo Dome City Hall.[4]

On April 26, 2012, a day before the concert begun, a rehearsal was held at Akasaka Blitz, which is also where the group help their "Japan Premium Party" back in July 2011, in front of fans who had purchased the groups Japanese debut album, "Playgirlz" and/or the double A-side single "Rambling Girls/Because of You".
