Playahitty was an Italian Eurodance group, best known for the 1994 hit "The Summer Is Magic", but also for other popular dance tracks, such "1-2-3! (Train with Me)".

Musical career

It featured the voice of Giovanna Bersola, one of the most important voices of the Italo dance/Eurodance genre, who also did the real vocals for the first hit of Corona, "The Rhythm Of The Night" (all of the rest of the songs on the 1st and 2nd albums of Corona were sung by Sandra Chambers (Sandy). This led to the mistaken belief that "The Summer Is Magic" was performed by Corona at the time.

The songs were written, played and produced by Emanuele Asti and licensed worldwide by Disco Inn/Conte Max Music. During the production of "The summer is magic", in order to increase the first-impact familiarity of the song, the same notes of the hit "No tengo dinero" of Righeira were deliberately used under the new wording "The summer is magin".
