Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District

The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) is a public school district that serves Placentia, Yorba Linda, and parts of Anaheim, Brea, and Fullerton located in Orange County, California. The school district covers 45 square miles (120 km2) and employs 2,500 people. Its student enrollment is approximately 27,000, with 22 elementary, 6 middle, 5 high schools and 2 home schools.

The mission of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District is to provide quality educational experiences that develop literate, lifelong learners who can function productively in and contribute responsibly to a diverse, technological, ever-changing and democratic society.
